Chateau Angelus
Following Lafite's lead, we have now have Angelus, the first important release from the Right Bank. Angelus have put their price down 31% on last year's price, to match the 2014 release price, making the 2024 the lowest-priced vintage in the market.
Angelus 2024 marks the 40th vintage by winemaker Hubert de Bouard at the estate, which has been run by his daughter Stephanie since 2012. To commemorate this milestone, Angelus 2024 bottles will feature below the label a special finish with a cross-section of a 40 year old tree from the estate vineyard.
