The wines of Haut Brion were amongst the most impressive we tasted this year.

Haut Brion at £2320 per 12 and La Mission Haut Brion at £1400 per 12 both receive glowing reviews from all of the critics and are wonderful wines in 2014.  La Mission is described by Neal Martin as a "sterling success" (95-97 pts) and by Galloni as "magnificent" - this is worthy of serious attention.

Talbot is released at £290 per 12, the cheapest available vintage and we really liked it this year.  It has a strong following, particularly in the UK, and the 2014 is described by James Suckling as "Best Talbot in years, maybe decades."

One of the most high profile of the super seconds is now released, Cos d'Estournel , at £820 per 12.  A beautiful and distinctive wine in 2014 it receives impressive, high-end notes from all of the critics.  Also released are the second wine Pagodes de Cos at £260 per 12 and the excellent white wine Cos d'Estournel Blanc at £500 per 12, possibly their best ever white wine.
