Tasting Notes

The Pavillon Blanc has a very lifted, very pure bouquet with lovely scents of dried pineapple, vanilla, white peach and honeysuckle…nigh irresistible. The palate is medium-bodied with great fruit intensity on the entry: yellow plum, vanilla, custard creams and a touch of guava wrapped up in crisp acidity from start to finish. It is very harmonious towards the finish. Superb. Tasted April 2012.

Lemon pale, delicate white summer fruits, wonderful raciness and an almost steely backbone behind the lifted florality.

Intensely aromatic - some spice, green fruit, mineral and creamy. Aromatic and complex. More savoury on the palate, mineral, dry and very long.

Blazingly pure, with gorgeous honeysuckle, heather, green almond, green plum and verbena notes backed by a long, macadamia nut-tinged finish. There's both tension and creaminess at the same time, delivering a beautiful expression of fruit and minerality. Despite sharing the label with the second wine of the red, this is grand vin white. Tasted non-blind

The density and crispiness of this white is fabulous with dried lemons, oranges and mangos. Full body with fabulous acidity that drives to the finish. Mineraly. Turn to white pepper! Lively. Sauvignon Blanc.
