Great depth, well judged and balanced, plenty of character, crisp mint leaf, cassis, blueberry, cocoa bean, espresso, this is seriously enjoyable, clear tannic frame and great ageing potential, ripe but measured, it's one to look out for and very easy to recommend. A classic 94 point Buy signal. 35% new French oak barrels, great stuff from Edouard Miailhe and winemaker Marjolaine Defrance. The label for 2022 is a tribute to Queen Elizabeth, for any royal fans out there... Score: 94 Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux Maturity: 2028-2046 Date: 06 March 2025 |

The 2022 Siran, bottled in May 2024, offers brambly red fruit with touches of sous-bois, pressed flowers and cedar. It opens nicely in the glass with suggestions of dark chocolate in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and accents of black pepper and clove. This wine surprisingly comes across a little Saint-Julien in style, and is somewhat austere for the first ten minutes. Then the fruit returns, as if playing peek-a-boo. Give this two or three years in bottle. Score: 93 Neal Martin, Vinous.com Maturity: 2028-2055 Date: 12 February 2025 |

The 2022 Siran is every bit as impressive in bottle as it was en primeur. Ample, rich and imposing, the 2022 has a lot to offer. A blast of dark-toned fruit, new leather, licorice and chocolate makes quite a statement. Siran is quite the extrovert. While it is not the most complex Margaux out there, its immediacy and charm are both notable. Score: 94 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com Maturity: 2027-2047 Date: 28 January 2025 |

Aromas of minty cassis, herbs and pencil shavings introduce the 2022 Siran, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and lively wine that's seamless and integrated. This is an especially strong effort for this estate. Score: 92 William Kelley, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2025-20426/3/25 Date: 30 November -0001 |
