This remains tight in its tannic constuction even after the softening impact of barrel ageing, and a slight dip in the mid palate shows the imprint of the vintage, but there is also a delcious textural slate character, and the whole thing feels sculpted, rising through the palate, with an edge of smoked caramel sweeetness alongside the brambled berry fruits. Harvest September 24 to October 6. Score: 92 Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux Maturity: 2025-2038 Date: 26 March 2024 |

The 2021 Hosanna is a pretty, understated wine. In 2021, Hosanna is quite floral and delicate, without is typical rich personality. In exchange, it will drink well right out of the gate. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, spice and orange peel linger. Score: 92 Antonio Galloni, Inside Bordeaux Maturity: 2031-2046 Date: 27 February 2024 |

The 2021 Hosanna is certainly one of the stronger efforts in Pomerol in this vintage. The bouquet comes racing out with ebullient black fruit that verges on too opulent (like I found some of the early vintages of Hosanna). Quite peppery and almost feral, touches of menthol come through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied, showing plush black fruit laced with white pepper, thyme and graphite, the latter especially evident on the aftertaste. It does settle in the glass after 5 minutes—an impressive Pomerol considering the vintage. Score: 93 Neal Martin, Vinous.com Maturity: 2029-2050 Date: 22 February 2024 |

The 2021 Hosanna is a fleshy, expressive wine, offering up aromas of sweet plums and berries mingled with spices, licorice, rose petals and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, broad and open-knit, it's a lively, charming wine that will likely take on more depth and structure with further élevage in barrel.
