Chateau Montlandrie, from one of the highest points in Castillon on limestone-rich slopes is an insider pick for lovers of Saint Emilion & Pomerol. Bought & revitalised by the late Denis Durantou of Pomerol superstar Eglise Clinet, the estate is now run by his daugheters in the skilled hands of his daughters who continue to refine its style. Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon now 25% of the blend (since 2023), gives more structure, lift and aromatic complexity. A great value, and a serious wine in its own right.
