Gevrey Chambertin Cuvee Pere Galland 2011

A more deeply pitched nose of dark berry fruit, plum, humus, underbrush and again, plenty of pungent earth. There is excellent precision and verve to the mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that are underpinned by relatively fine grained tannins on the clean, dry, balanced, firm and persistent finish. This is really very pretty and I like the saline character of the finish as it refreshes the palate.
