Good medium red. Red cherry and spicy oak aromas are lifted by rose petal and blood orange. Wonderfully pure and perfumed, with superb precision and cut to its fruit-driven flavors of cherry and raspberry. In a more delicate, feminine style than the Malconsorts. The vibrant, impressively long finish offers lovely lingering floral perfume. A wonderfully fresh grand cru. Score: 92 - 94 Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.com 01 March 2009 |

Note: from a tiny .18 ha parcel A kaleidoscopic nose of different spice elements is pure, elegant a airy, combining mostly red berry fruit aromas that are in perfect keeping with the minerally, detailed and impeccably balanced middle weight plus flavors that possess superb length. This is a wine of finesse and Zen-like harmony with a supporting framework of very fine tannins that come across as cashmere on the caressing finish. Don't miss!
