Tasting Notes

A powerhouse, this is concentrated and firm, showing cooked plum and black cherry notes, with plenty of vanilla and sandalwood from oak. A bit chunky now, but full of sweet fruit and well-integrated tannins. Best from 2010 through 2030. 25 cases imported.

This too is slightly mentholated with very ripe and highly spicy red and black pinot fruit aromas that introduce supple, sweet and remarkably complex flavors that offer first rate power and concentration with a dusty, long and punchy finish. This is classy juice that combines new world style fruit with a solidly Burgundian finish and it is a wine that will require a minimum of 10 years in the cellar. Drink 2013+
