Mid crimson. Rich chocolate nose. Neat and well melded. Just about ready to go. Score: 16 Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com Maturity: 2011-2015 12 May 2011 |

Good ruby-red. Plum, spicecake, roast coffee, licorice and a loamy nuance on the nose. Supple and sweet, with sneaky intensity of flavor and nicely integrated acidity. A rather suave style of 2007, finishing with fine-grained tannins and subtle persistence. Score: 88 Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar 01 July 2010 |

Another fine effort from this consistently excellent producer, the 2007 d-Aiguilhe is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. A dark ruby/purple color is followed by sweet black currant, charcoal, roasted herb, and spice box aromas presented in a weighty, medium to full-bodied, surprisingly rich, lush style. It should drink well for 5-6 years or longer. Score: 88 Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2010-2016 01 April 2010 |

Blackberry and black licorice aromas follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a long finish. There's great richness and depth to this. One of the region's most consistently good values. Best after 2011. 390 cases made. Score: 90 James Suckling, Wine Spectator 31 March 2010 |

Balanced and pretty--surprisingly so for the vintage. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a clean, fruity finish. Not aggressive. 80 percent Merlot and 20 percent Cabernet Franc. Score: 85 - 88 James Suckling, Wine Spectator 31 March 2008 |

Fruit and finesse rather than power in 2007. Deep colour, fragrant spice and red berry aromas, layered fruit on the palate with a fresh minerality on the finish. Delicious wine. Drink 2011-2018. Score: 17 Decanter, - Maturity: 2011-2018 08 April 2008 |

Deep crimson. Ripe nose of cranberries with a hint of jam. Mid-weight and quite open-knit with sweet fruit and notes of asphalt. A plush texture with well-managed tannins and reasonable length. Score: 87 - 89 Albany Vintners, - 01 April 2008 |
