Subdued on the first nose, well judged and expressed dark fruit flavours, with a punch of white pepper and sage spice. This has a slow build through the palate, good quality with a rich texture that isn't overblown. Could benefit from three or four years in bottle before drinking, but this has plenty of appellation typicity. Vinified in stainless steel, aged in barrel, Kressmann family owners of this 45ha estate. Score: 93 Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux Maturity: 2029-2944 06 March 2025 |

The 2022 Latour-Martillac is riper and sunnier than its peers on the nose, with brambly red fruit, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, light allspice and pencil shaving scents emerging over time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grip on the entry. I appreciate the structure and freshness, though the finish is a bit heavy-handed compared to the best wines in the appellation. Still, it may improve with time in bottle; indeed, the second and third bottles felt more nuanced. Score: 92 Neal Martin, Inside Bordeaux Maturity: 2032-2065 12 February 2025 |

The 2022 Latour-Martillac is s powerful, brooding wine, just as it was en primeur. A blast of dark red fruit, leather, spice, dried herbs and licorice are all delineated in the glass. The 2022 packs a pretty intense punch. A few years in bottle will help to some degree. Score: 93 Antonio Galloni, Inside Bordeaux Maturity: 2027-2042 28 January 2025 |

The ruby/plum-hued 2022 Château Latour-Martillac offers up a smoking good bouquet of ripe currants, cassis, and assorted blue fruits as well as some classic Graves chocolate, scorched earth, and floral notes. Full-bodied, rich, and textured, it has lots of ripeness yet never goes over the top and stays balanced and lively. Score: 93 - 95 Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com 05 October 2023 |

A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot, the 2022 Latour Martillac displays aromas of cassis, blueberry, raspberry, licorice, menthol, iris and violet. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is perfectly balanced, fleshy in the mid-palate and seamless with a moderately concentrated and elegant texture. The new winery allows for more accuracy during the winemaking process, and it is noticeable. (YC) Score: 91 - 93 William Kelley, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com 28 April 2023 |
