The Echezeaux 2016 is also one of the highlights – surprisingly forward and expressive at this stage with a lovely floral and organic expression. The nose offer vibrant cherries and raspberries, hints of pomegranate and strawberries – lovely minerality and spicyness. On the palate tremendous length, depth and balance – a good match for the Clos de Vougeot quality wise.
