A wonderfully fragrant nose displays notes of green apple, citrus, floral, oyster shell and algae nuances. There is both good volume and intensity to the clean, intense and sleek flavors that seem to be built on a base of minerality, all wrapped in a tension-filled and bone dry finish. This is excellent and well worth consideration. (Outstanding Top Value) Score: 92 Allen Meadows, Burghound Maturity: 2020+ 15 October 2015 |

The 2014 Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet is matured in stainless steel for nine months. It has an attractive wet stone and flinty bouquet flanked by citrus lemon and yellow flower scents. The palate is taut and fresh with bitter lemon on the entry, fine precision and with a finish that unlike some of its Côte de Léchet peers, demonstrates adequate fruit intensity. This is a well made Chablis that should offer a decade of pleasure. Score: 90 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com 28 August 2015 |
