Tasting Notes

An expressive and airy nose reflects notes of mineral reduction, green fruit and plenty of citrus influence. There is solid density and an attractive, even seductive, texture to the delicious flavors that flash good minerality on the dry, balanced and moderately firm finish. This is worth a look for its level.

Allen Meadows, Burghound Maturity: 2025+ 10 October 2022

Derived from 46 hectares of holdings that average around 45 years old, Fèvre's 2020 Chablis Village is a rare example of a cuvée that combines quantity and quality. Offering up aromas of white flowers, clear honey, bread dough and fresh pastry, it's medium-bodied, saline and seamless, with bright acids and a fine-boned, elegant but intensely flavored profile.

Score: 90

A little more lemon with lime in colour, and a more complete expression of Chablis on the nose, marine minerals alongside the fruit. A fresh lime note comes through on the palate along with the marine character, impeccable balance and very good length.

Score: 88 - 90
