Corton Bressandes 2019

This is produced from a 0.8ha parcel of 80-year-old vines at mid-slope that Philippe Pacalet has worked with since 2016. The grapes yield very little, but produce wines of intense concentration. Aromas of ripe black plum, exotic spices and mineral leap from the glass, while the texture of the wine is super-rich but not lacking in backbone. This is immediately approachable, but still has the substance to age for years to come. - Charles Curtis MW
