Tasting Notes

Bursting with aromas of almond paste, pear, peach and orange blossom, the 2017 Bourgogne Chardonnay is medium to full-bodied, with an elegantly fleshy but precise palate, concluding with a delicately perfumed finish. Some 90% of this cuvée derives from vines in the commune of Meursault.

A super-fresh, cool and bright nose speaks of various white orchard fruit, floral and discreet citrus wisps. There is both excellent intensity and detail to the middle weight flavors that possess impressive complexity for its level as well as fine length. This is a first-rate Bourgogne and highly recommended. Outstanding Top value

Tank sample. Fragrant with citrus and white blossom. Plenty of depth combined with freshness in a straightforward but complete wine. Touch of spice on the finish.

The 2017 Bourgogne Blanc has a very well-defined, quite flinty bouquet that is bursting with energy. The taut, fresh palate offers wonderful salinity, and touches of vervain tea make an unexpected appearance toward the finish. Very fine.
