Initially less reductive and a touch more creamy on the nose than the St-Aubin Sur Le Sentier des Clous. But as it opens that struck match becomes more obvious. Very strongly in that reductive style but has the fruit to balance the winemaking. Delicious if you like this character. Notes of waxy lemon rind, green orchard fruit, drawn butter and almonds introduce the 2017 Meursault Les Tillets, a medium to full-bodied wine with more concentration, depth and extract than Jobard's regular Meursault Village, its more textural profile balanced by tangy acids, displaying promising structural tension at the core.
