The 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières is the most incipiently complex wine in the cellar, wafting from the glass with notes of crisp green and yellow orchard fruits, honeycomb, hazelnut cream and subtle leesy nuances which will likely dissipate by the time the wine finishes its élevage. On the palate, it's full-bodied, satiny and multidimensional, with superb depth and amplitude, a concentrated and tight-knit score and a long, sapid finish. This is a great Genevrières from Antoine Jobard. Score: 94 - 96 William Kelley, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com 04 January 2019 |
