This property continues to make terrific value wines. The 2012, a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, is a major sleeper of the vintage. Gorgeous, plump black cherry, kirsch and blackcurrant fruit mixed with incense, licorice and spice jump from the glass of this opaque ruby/purple wine. Fleshy, opulent and a dead ringer for a top Pomerol, this beauty from the Becot family is once again a major over-achiever. Drink over the next 5-7 years.
