---|---|---|---|---|
The 2015 Poujeaux has a very able bouquet with blackberry, briary and subtle undergrowth scents, hints of boysenberry jam developing with time. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, redcurrant and a tang of marmalade. I would have liked a little more structure to come through, although there is decent length here. Fine, but I still feel that this estate can aim for higher. Score: 90 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2020-2032 01 March 2018 |

The 2015 Poujeaux is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. It has a high-toned, floral bouquet with kirsch and raspberry coulis notes, opulent for this Moulis, but it manages to retain control. The palate is chewy on the entry with mouth-coating tannin, solid in the mouth, brutish at the moment, although the finish does show satisfactory freshness, and is long and minerally. This will be intriguing once in bottle. Score: 90 - 92 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2020-2035 01 April 2016 |

Suave, brambly mixed summer berry fruits take center stage on the nose with a very nicely layered palate carrying fresh bright berry flavors into an upbeat finish. Smart wine. Try from 2022. Score: 94 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com 02 February 2018 |

Shows excellent depth of fruit with chewy and polished tannins. Full and very long. Gorgeous length. Score: 92 - 93 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com 01 April 2016 |

The 2015 Poujeaux is gorgeous and open-knit, with lovely fruit presence, soft contours and tons of near to medium-term appeal. Silky tannins add to the wine's inviting personality. The sweet red cherry and plum flavors have an extra dimension of richness and deepness in 2015 that is unusual, but that also adds to the wine's undeniable allure. This is a gorgeous wine from the Cuvelier family. The blend is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Score: 90 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com Maturity: 2018-2025 01 February 2018 |

The 2015 Poujeaux is shaping up to be a huge overachiever in this vintage. Rich, layered and generous, the 2015 offers considerable near and medium term appeal. This is a strong showing from the Cuvelier family. Stéphane Derenoncourt and Julien Lavenu are the consulting winemakers Score: 88 - 90 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com 01 April 2016 |

The 2015 Château Poujeaux is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominated red that includes 42% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. It’s a medium-bodied, classic, workhorse styled beauty offering lots of currant and black cherry fruits, plenty of minerality, fine tannin and solid concentration. It has more density than most Moulis and will keep for 10-15 years. Score: 89 Jeb Dunnuck, - Maturity: 2018-2033 30 November 2017 |

Subtle tea and sandalwood notes meld nicely with the core of lightly steeped red currant fruit. Features a gentle cocoa powder edge on the elegant finish. Score: 88 - 91 James Molesworth, Wine Spectator 01 April 2016 |
