Tasting Notes

This is ever-so-slightly riper than the Bienvenues with a mix of white and yellow orchard fruit, acacia blossom, lilac and discreet citrus and spice nuances. The large-scaled, concentrated and powerful flavors possess superb intensity before concluding in an explosively long, lemony and stunningly persistent finish. I very much like the mid-palate mouth feel thanks to the abundant level of sap and while this isn't necessarily more complex than the BBM it is longer and more structured. Don't miss!

Score: 92 - 95

Pale, bright straw-yellow. Sexy aromas of peach, hazelnut and smoky oak. Plush, leesy and ripe, conveying an impression of sucrosité and power. Much larger than the Bienvenue but not more interesting today as it's holding its fruit in reserve. Large-scaled wine with a tannic finish calling for patience.

Score: 92 - 94
