Yquem

Chateau d'Yquem is an icon. The world's greatest sweet wine, the undisputed King of Sauternes situated on the finest terroir, atop the highest hill of the appellation - and the only wine in Bordeaux to be given special status as "Premier Cru Superieur". The excellent dry white wine "Y d'Yquem" (aka "Ygrec") is made here, from grapes picked before the onset of botrytis.
