The “Lord of Barsac,” Climens has been owned by the Lurton family since 1971. Unique in Sauternes, Climens is dedicated to a single grape variety: 100% Semillon. The estate has been farmed biodynamically since 2010, emphasizing purity, precision, and terroir expression & and a more vibrant and ethereal style compared to its richer Sauternes counterparts.
