The 2024 Galatrona (100% Merlot) is a seriously beautiful, vivid wine. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, mint and espresso are all laced together in the glass. Just bottled, the 2024 is very expressive. I can’t remember a Galatrona with this much class. Harvest took place from September 2 to 9. The 2024 spent 18 months in French oak, 30% new. This is so refined.

Savoury, vivid, crunchy red fruits of raspberry and redcurrant, layered with bright elderflower and white pepper. Love the fragrant and mouthwatering delicacy of this moreish 100% Merlot, showcasing a more delicate side of this grape. A wine that is very easy to recommend. Harvest first half of September, 33% new oak.

A racy, refined red, showing blackberry, black-truffle and violet aromas and flavors. Hints of fresh herbs like bay leaves and basil. Medium-bodied with crunchy fruit and firm tannins that turn creamy in the polished, textured finish. Lead pencil and sandalwood. Very impressive for the vintage. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable but try in two or three years.
