The 2021 Tronquoy (formerly Tronquoy-Lalande) has turned out very nicely in bottle, offering up deep aromas of cassis, minty blackberries, pencil shavings and burning embers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, layered and velvety palate that's quite fleshy and concentrated for the vintage, with lively acids and a long, saline finish.
