What the critics say

Jasper Morris (JMo) — 90–92/100 · Inside Burgundy, 30/06/2022 · Drink 2025-2029

Made up of all three parts of Montmains, mostly For'ts and Butteaux which is picked later. Currently cloudy but the bouquet can speak for the wine. Attractive delicate white fruits, not very reductive this year, while the fruit really builds on the second half of the palate and the finish does deliver some kimmeridgian minerals. Racy at the end but also a touch softer than some years. Drink from…

Neal Martin (NM) — 90–92/100 · Vinous, 15/09/2022 · Drink 2025-2035

Allen Meadows (BH) — 92/100 · Burghound, 10/10/2023 · Drink 2028+

An overtly floral-inflected nose displays notes of pear, apple, citrus confit and mineral reduction. There is impressive density to the rich and surprisingly powerful middleweight plus flavors that are supported by bracing lemon-tinged acidity on the more complex, long and highly refreshing finish. Good stuff and worth your interest.
