What the critics say

Jane Anson (JA) — 95/100 · Inside Bordeaux, 26/01/2022 · Drink 2026-2044

Always a well-judged and balanced Pomerol from owner Jeremy Chasseuil. As it unrolls, it majors on poised but punchy loganberry and blackberry fruit, with slices of fennel, black pepper and cinnamon spice. Well judged but still present oak notes. 70% new oak. A yield of 42 hl/ha.

Jane Anson (JA) — 95/100 · Decanter.com, 20/05/2020 · Drink 2026 - 2044

Some serious structure and lift going on here, this has walls to the tannins rather than just frame, and intends to hold its ground for a good few decades. Not the most exuberant Pomerol in the vintage, instead this goes for controlled but silky black fruits, holding back its coffee bean dusting until the wine has fully opened in the glass. Excellent quality from Jeremy Chasseuil at Feytit-Clinet…

James Suckling (JS) — 95–96/100 · JamesSuckling.com, 20/05/2020

This is a real beauty with ripe, opulent fruit and plush, polished tannins. It's focused and tight at the end, but the texture and flavor is of standout quality.
