The 2018 Mazy-Chambertin Grand Cru has a beautifully defined bouquet of intense red berry fruit and displays superb mineralit' ' vrai Mazys. It is more serious than the Charmes-Chambertin. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, very pure red currant and raspberry fruit and gentle grip. An undertow of pepperiness surfaces toward the voluminous finish. Superb.
