A discreet application of wood frames the overtly spicy and floral aromas that display notes of plum, black cherry, violet, lavender and Asian-style tea. The medium weight flavors are lush to the point of opulence with a seductive texture, all wrapped in a delicious, refined and balanced finish. This should also drink well young if desired.

Juicy, firm and concentrated but not austere, with the stem element adding spine to the very fresh flavors of berries, flowers and stone. This lovely, vibrant wine really spreads out on the back end.

Powerful and penetrating but not sweet, with its black cherry, dark berry and licorice flavors conveying an impression of medicinal reserve. Finishes with building tannins, notes of licorice and menthol and lovely length.
