Blason de l'Evangile is the second wine of Chateau l'Evangile, first made in 1990 shortly following Domaines Barons de Rothschild’s (Lafite) acquisition of the estate in 1990. Produced from the same exceptional terroir and vinified with the same precision as the Grand Vin, it is led by Merlot with Cabernet Franc adding freshness and complexity. Blason captures the estate’s unmistakable Pomerol character in a more approachable and youthful style.
