Established in 1998, Woodside Valley Estate was a highly regarded Margaret River producer known for elegant, structured Cabernet Sauvignon from its unusual south-facing vineyards. The estate was rated 5 stars (out of 5) by leading Australian critic James Halliday and the estate's 'Baudin' Cabernet Sauvignon earned praise from Robert Parker for its "elegant, Bordeaux-like style". The untimely death of founder Ron Wood and subsequent sale of the business means that the Woodside Valley Estate label is no longer used with bottles becoming increasingly hard to find.
