The '04 Clos Saint Jacques has a pure, cherry and strawberry-infused nose with beautifully laced new oak that never obscures the fruit intensity. The palate is very well-defined on the entry with vibrant red cherry, wild strawberry and pomegranate notes, though it just lacks a sense of nervosite towards the finish. Moderate length.
