I have always loved this wine. It's a giant, yet also sophisticated and reserved. Still dark-ruby colored, with beautiful aromas of fruits and spices. Full-bodied, with opulent fruit and a depth of flavor that lasts for minutes on the palate. Loads of tobacco and fruit.--P'trus non-blind vertical. Best after 2010.

Very dark ruby with a broad band of brown. Funny richness on the nose. Liquorice, sweet palate start. Very, very succulent, tea roasted. Lots of tannin/minerals still buried in there. Game, note of menthol, very exotic. Rich and full. Wonderful length and sore-throat soothing potential.

Full, deep red. Flamboyant aromas of red berry liqueur, earth, truffle and exotic woodsmoke. Hugely sweet and fat, with great ripeness and opulence and marvelous chewy depth. Finishes with huge but ripe tongue-dusting tannins and fabulous persistence.
