Lovely classic Bordeaux nose, blackberries and cedar and attractive leaves. Open with concentrated rich fruit and good juiciness. Smooth all the way through, this is a lovely drink already with ripe firm tannins giving shape to the end. Score: 90 Albany Vintners, - 09 January 2017 |

Deep colour with a classic nose of juicy blackberry fruit and cigar box continuing onto the palate. Soft black fruit, a hint of spice and a strictness to the structure making this a traditionally-styled claret. Score: 88 - 90 Albany Vintners, - 24 April 2015 |

The 2014 Beaumont has a straightforward blackberry and raspberry bouquet that feels a little subdued at the moment and needs a tad more harmony. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe tannin, solid and conservative yet with good density. It does not quite "flow" like the best vintages of this Haut-Médoc, but I suspect it will improve with another couple of years in bottle to soften its edges. Tasted September 2016. Score: 88 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2018-2027 28 October 2016 |

The Château Beaumont 2014 has a slightly pinched nose at first, but there are appreciable dense blackberry and raspberry aromas interwoven with cedary new oak that surface with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with good weight in the mouth. It is not a complex Haut-Médoc but it dishes out freshness and crisp acidity, flavoursome and savory black fruit fanning out nicely on the finish. "Good Claret" - as they say. Score: 88 - 90 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2017-2029 01 April 2015 |

Pretty dark purplish crimson. Broad, luscious nose. Energetic and well balanced even if only medium weight and medium ambition. Easy to like with attractive fairly open fruit, even if hardly complex or long term. Drying finish with grainy, sandy tannins. Score: 16 Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com Maturity: 2018-2026 15 April 2015 |

A solid wine with tar, dark chocolate and berry character. Full and chewy. Impressive. Score: 90 - 91 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com 13 April 2015 |
