An imposing wine with high tannin but also equally high extract and richness, the heady smorgasbord of aromas range from blackberries to cassis to cherries, vanilla, coffee, and licorice. The wine is deep, full-bodied, and powerful, with a lot of structure but also a lot of sweetness.
