A beauty, this red is intense and full of sweet blackberry, black currant, loganberry and mineral notes, all buoyed on dense, ripe tannins. An expressive, ripe and very spicy nose of earthy dark berry fruit aromas nuanced by a hint of animale that is also picked up on the rich, full and sweet flavors that are also impressively concentrated and even more powerful, all wrapped in a mouth coating finish that displays hints of coffee and mocha.
