The 2007 Beauséjour Duffau-Lagarrosse has a sedate bouquet with brambly black fruit with redcurrant and a touch of dried fig lending sweetness. The palate is medium-bodied with tannin that have softened dramatically in recent years. It feels grainy in texture with a rather fluffy, gravelly finish that is missing some backbone. Easy-drinking Saint Emilion but still, it is nicely crafted considering the growing season. Tasted March 2015. Score: 87 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2015-2020 30 June 2017 |
