Prestige Blanc 2012

Even better, and one of the leading whites in the appellation, the 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvee Prestige is comprised of 60% Roussanne and the balance Grenache Blanc and Clairette. Going completely through malolactic fermentation, it got a big 'Wow' in my notes. White peach, citrus blossom, pear, vanilla cream and lemon curd all emerge from this brilliantly focused, seamless and incredibly fresh white. Balancing its richness and freshness perfectly and a joy to drink, it should be consumed over the coming 3-4 years. Drink now-2017.
