Tasting Notes

This fully mature 1990 reveals plenty of lightening and bricking at the edge. Aromas of grilled meat, leather, cedar, herbs, and smoky black fruits are followed by a low acid, plush wine that lacks the concentration seen in the top wines of the vintage. It should drink nicely for another 5-6 years.

Score: 88

Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2009-2015 01 June 2009

Dark ruby color, with mineral, berry and wet soil. Medium-bodied, with firm tannins and a long, fresh finish. Pretty wine. Elegant Talbot.--1990 Bordeaux retrospective. Best after 2003. 25,000 cases made.

Score: 90
