63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot. Spicy, clove-like aromas. Lots of sizzle. Chewy end. Bright fruit. Pretty GV in modern idiom. 13.5% Score: 16 Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com Maturity: 2014-2022 01 October 2011 |

The Peyredon Lagravette 2009 has a very fragrant bouquet with a lot of oak but sufficient fruit underneath to support it. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine, grippy entry and a nice fleshy mouthfeel towards the cohesive, grippy finish. A complete Cru Bourgeois that should drink well over 5-8 years. Good stuff!
