Spicy, with dried apricot and lemon character. Full, yet tight and long. Medium sweet, with a spicy finish. An impressive racy style. Best after 2009. Score: 92 James Suckling, Wine Spectator Maturity: 2009+ |

Relatively simple sugary nose. Mid to light weight. OK balance but not very thrilling. Hint of burnt caramel. A bit astringent. Score: 15 - 16 Jancis Robinson MW, Jancisrobinson.com Maturity: 2010-2016 |

Full yellow-gold. Slightly high-toned aromas of honeycomb, spicy oak and licorice, with a cool, musky sauvignon nuance. Surprisingly thick in the mouth but with an edge of acidity framing the pungent pineapple, orange peel and kiwi flavors. Nicely concentrated and well-made, but one sees the shortcomings of the vintage here in the wine's slight bitter streak in conjunction with a slight lack of energy in the middle palate. Score: 88 Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar |
