(65% cabernet sauvignon, 25% merlot and 10% cabernet franc) Bright medium ruby. Good lift to the aromas of blackberry, licorice and violet. Juicy, pure and on the lean side but with a subtle sweetness and good flavor intensity. The sweet fruit holds nicely to the end, which features mouthdusting tannins and good persistence. A rather stylish wine, dominated by its cabernet side today. Score: 86 - 89 Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar 01 May 2008 |

Round black cherry nose - very rich and modern. Bit awkward and unfriendly on the palate. Score: 16 Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com Maturity: 2010-2018 15 August 2007 |

A bit earthy to start, but with air it grows to a rich and dense red from Margaux. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, long finish. It's all there. Handcrafted red. Best after 2007. Score: 90 James Suckling, Wine Spectator Maturity: 2007+ 31 March 2004 |
