Tasting Notes:

Somewhat surprisingly, this is notably riper than the Charmes with the barest trace of wood setting off the mildly exotic orchard fruit and citrus aromas that are airy and elegant as well as beautifully complex before sliding gracefully into the intensely mineral-suffused flavors that are both powerful and explosive on the strikingly long finish where it fans out like a peacock's tail. Impressive.

Very firm, dutiful and upright. Extremely intense and introvert. It is all on the finish - still very tight on the nose. This should make great old bones but should not be opened for quite a while. Certainly a very worthy example of the vineyard. (17+ Points)
