A completely different expression with rich, powerful, seductively spicy fruit aromas and despite the intensity and grand scale of the flavors, this is impressively precise. This is not an especially showy wine but I particularly like the textured palate impression and gorgeous length. Score: 91 Allen Meadows, Burghound Maturity: 2007-2013 01 July 2004 |

Cooler aromas of lemon ice and lime. Then fat, dense and lush, with harmonious acidity. Uncommonly fat and full for Genevrieres. This really expands in the mouth, finishing broad and very long. Score: 91 - 93 Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar 01 September 2003 |

The almond paste-scented 2001 Meursault-Genevrieres is oily-textured, lush, and medium-bodied. Sporting a fabulous mouth-feel, this wine conquers the palate with satiny layers of ripe white peaches and pears. Fresh, pure, and long in the finish, it is a candidate for drinking over the next 6 years. Score: 90 - 92 Pierre Rovani, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2003-2009 01 June 2003 |
