Tasting Notes

Spicy, soft, savory, medium to full-bodied, with a dark ruby/plum color, hints of earth, plum, and black currant fruit are present in this straightforward, easygoing wine that is best drunk over the next 5-7 years.

Score: 86

Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2006-2013 30 April 2006

A soft, nearly flaccid offering with extremely low acidity, some candied plum, currant, and fig-like fruit, medium body, and a silky finish, this 2003 should be drunk during its first 5-6 years of life as I am not convinced it possesses the grip and structure to last beyond a decade.

Score: 86 - 87

Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2005-2011 30 April 2005

More resrained than some of its St.-Estephe peers, this offering exhibits a deep saturated ruby/plum/purple color as well as a sweet nose of black fruits and earth, medium body, decent acidity, fine flesh, and good follow through on the palate. A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Franc, it will drink well for ten years.

Score: 86 - 88
