Already clear and pretty light gold. Rather pungent and tangy. Interesting. Not heavy but clearly a fine expression of the vintage - some greenness but not skinny. A very simple nose of citrus fruits and apple: not dissimilar to a Mosel. The palate is citrus-driven with low- to moderate-levels of botrytis, quite linear and never really taking off. Rather lean at this stage. Tasted March 2007. Score: 84 - 86 Neal Martin, erobertparker.com |
