The 2019 Meursault En la Barre is showing very well, unwinding in the glass with notes of citrus zest, white flowers and pear, framed by a deft touch of youthful reduction. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, it's deep and concentrated, with lively acids and a long, expansive finish. Score: 91 William Kelley, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2021-2039 20 January 2022 |

The 2019 Meursault En La Barre is stricter and better focused than the Les Tillets this year. There is fine mineralité here, and a discreet sea spray note comes through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, good depth and grip and just a bit of new oak needing to be assimilated on the finish. Score: 90 - 92 Neal Martin, Vinous.com Maturity: 2023-2033 01 December 2020 |

5 Star Wine. Racked and sulphured before harvest. Pale lemon. The bouquet is once again admirable, and the second half of the palate is an absolutely explosion of deep and glorious white fruit, no feel of the alcohol. Totally balanced, a potential joy. Score: 92 - 94 Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy 31 October 2020 |
