Tasting Notes

A gorgeous wine showing excellent minerality and red fruit purity. Haut Roc Blanquant means literally High White Rock - and is the first release of the new third wine of Belair Monanage, the Saint Emilion property now owned by JP Moueix, formerly Chateau Belair and Chateau Magdelaine. The vines are perfectly situated on one of the greatest terroirs of Saint Emilion, on the limestone plateau above Ausone and Belair, next to Chateau Canon and below Belair.
