Tasting Notes | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
This has a good energy, featuring an integrated arrangement of cherry paste, currant tart and blood orange flavors, with details of licorice, thyme and leather echoing into the smooth, tobacco-tinged finish. The better of two bottles tasted. Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault. Drink now through 2029. Score: 91 Winespectator.com, Wine Spectator Maturity: 2018-2029 15 November 2018 |

Mid crimson. Light, sweet start. For the moment it’s a little simple. Bright, ripe red fruit. Slightly burnt edge. Lots of tannins. Quite dry and youthful on the finish. Much longer bottle age needed. By far the most youthful wine in this vertical. Score: 17 Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com Maturity: 2028-2050 02 February 2018 |
