An almost invisible touch of wood highlights the ever-so-slightly riper aromas of mildly exotic white peach, pear, and orange peel. There is excellent density to the exceptionally rich, sappy, generous and very round full-bodied flavors that possess a seductively textured mouth feel while delivering outstanding length on the robust and chewy, indeed almost tannic, finish. This is one of the relatively rare 2015 whites that will absolutely need extended cellaring and I would go so far as to say that if you're not prepared to cellar it at least 5-ish years, don't buy it. (2017) Score: 93 Allen Meadows, Burghound Maturity: 2025+ 11 June 2017 |

The 2015 Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru, which came in at around 13.5% alcohol, has a lovely nose with scents of lemon curd, apricot blossom and cold limestone, a touch of mango emerging with time. The palate is extremely well balanced with a fine line of acidity. There is energy and tension here, tightening up towards the finish but still persistent in the mouth. This has great potential, a reserved Criots that should spread its wings once in bottle. Score: 92 - 94 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2019-2032 30 December 2016 |

(the highest in alcohol of these 2015s along with the Morgeot, at 13.6%): Bright yellow. Deep, very ripe aromas of yellow fruits, flowers and honey. Opulent, silky and sweet, conveying a strong impression of dusty extract, but penetrating lemony acidity gives the wine a slightly disjointed quality today as well as a touch of bitterness. Finishes with some exotic lichee and banana notes. Score: 91 - 93 Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.com 01 September 2016 |
